An adorable video of a mother elephant helping her newborn calf has surfaced on the internet. The clip, which is swiftly going viral, is a testimony to how mothers can go to any extent to help their kids overcome any sort of obstacle that comes their way.
Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Susanta Nanda took to Twitter on Friday to share the heartwarming video. It shows a gentle giant and her calf crossing a muddy area. While making their way ahead, the mommy elephant saw a branch that was blocking their path. Taking no longer, she used her trunk to get rid of the obstacle for the ease of the baby elephant. After the hurdle was removed, the mother and the tiny kid moved ahead.
“Mothers will not tolerate slightest of obstacles in the way of their kids. It removes the branch from the way for its few hours old little champion. Adorable elephants and cute calves are always fascinating,” wrote Nanda while sharing the clip.
In his tweet, officer Nanda also mentioned that it is an old clip which he received on WhatsApp.
