An old man’s kind act has left the internet in an emotional state and chances are that you might end up shedding a tear or two after reading it. Ethan Anderson, a Twitter user, posted a tweet about his grandfather after the old man left a bucket filled with baseballs in the batting cages for those who are in need of these. And, for free.
“My granddad left an old bucket of balls at the batting cages we used to go to with this note on them…. I’m not crying, you’re crying,” Ethan said in the caption of his post on Twitter. In the first picture, a bucket full of baseballs was seen kept in the batting cages. Another image is that of the note that the old man left along with the bucket.
“Free,” the note said, adding, “Hope someone can use some of those baseballs. In the batting cages, I found them cleaning out my garage. I pitched them to my son and grandson for countless rounds. My son is now 46 and grandson is 23. I am 72 and what I won’t give to pitch a couple of buckets to them. They have both moved away. If you are a father, cherish these times. You won’t believe how quickly they will be gone,” the note reads.

“This is heartbreaking as I have a bucket of baseballs that I pitched to my son. I’m going to keep it for him to use for his kids. Thank you for sharing this. It really hit home,” a user said.
